Job Description

As a Project Lead your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Support Engineering Estimates and Software Development Plans
Oversee engineering project team and subcontractor deliverables and ensure project is within budget, schedule and quality standards
Work with other departments such as Program Management, Certification, Safety & Reliability, Quality and Manufacturing
Maintain the engineering work standards and processes
Evaluation of technical risk, mitigation and contingency
Produce and present monthly status reports for management review
Support continuous product improvement and innovation
Must thrive working under pressure and solving challenging problems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering or Computer Science;
A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing Agile software development teams or project management in the field of avionics or military products;
Experience in software development and design in the field of avionics or military products using development process and designing to quality standards (such as DO-178C, MIL- STD-810 or MIL-STD-461);
Demonstrated success in the execution and leadership of complex projects requiring cost and schedule performance management and risk management;
Demonstrated understanding of requirements management for the development of software systems;
Knowledge of Primavera or similar project planning tool;
Strong understanding of data analysis tools and techniques. This includes the ability to collect, clean, and analyze data to convey meaningful patterns and trends for executive presentation;
French/English bilingualism.
