Introduction:

We are seeking a Junior Field Engineer to join our team and provide engineering services for our company. The Junior Field Engineer will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering tasks. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills and be able to work efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Analyze existing equipment, ensure it is suitable for the project's needs, and ensure on-time inspection and servicing for existing equipment.
Inspect equipment regularly to ensure that any preventative maintenance is carried out.
Make recommendations for new instruments and equipment to be installed to increase productivity.
Conduct project research and report back with project timelines, goals, and success likelihood.
Ensure projects run smoothly.
Provide training on engineering methods and follow engineering instructions.
Provide regular reports to executives.
Work in line with health and safety guidelines.
Provide direction, training, and mentoring to other engineers and operatives at the field site.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
Project management and supervision skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
College Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Metallurgical, Mining, Fluid Mechanics preferred
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
