Manufacturing Engineer Manufacturing Processes and Production Layouts (Littleton, CO)

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will perform in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.

This is a 4-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4 days 10-hour shifts weekly). This role is onsite supporting our client's Littleton, CO facility.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
Creates and analyzes 3D-based model data environment to optimize the manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.
Evaluate the performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigate and initiate corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.
Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
Experience in creating and analyzing 3D-based model data environments to optimize the manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $65/hr. - $90/hr.
