Details:
As a Data Visualization Engineer , you will design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions using Snowflake datasets. Your work will directly impact business decisions by transforming raw data into actionable insights. Experience with DBT and Python is a strong plus. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate their expertise through a portfolio of Tableau data visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards and visualizations to provide meaningful insights.

Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate Snowflake datasets into Tableau.

Leverage advanced Tableau features such as LOD expressions, calculated fields, and parameterized dashboards.

Partner with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Optimize queries and reporting performance for large datasets in Snowflake.

Utilize DBT for data transformations and modeling, enhancing Snowflake data pipelines.

Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing, automation, or integration tasks (as needed).

Conduct data validation and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

Stay updated with BI tools and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in Tableau development, with a focus on creating dynamic, interactive dashboards.

Proficiency in Snowflake, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.

Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformations (preferred).

Experience with Python for data-related tasks (preferred).

Skills:

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with version control systems like Git (a plus).
