Mid-Atlantic Mechanical is seeking an experienced and licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in designing mechanical systems. Company performs piping, plumbing and sheet metal design and installation. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in CAD and Revit and bring expertise in supporting detailed design and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Drafting: Lead VDC team in the creation and modification of mechanical designs and shop drawings using CAD and Revit, developing precise blueprints, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and other Department heads to ensure smooth project execution from design to completion.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct assessments of shop drawings, designs, document processes, and ensure quality and consistency in all work.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current on industry standards and codes, ensuring that all projects meet legal and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in CAD and Revit.
- Experience: 2+ years in mechanical engineering, specializing in fabrication, construction, or system design.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work with a strong commitment to safety.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams on complex engineering projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
