Title
OIL SPILL CLAIMS ANALYST
Primary Purpose of Job
Ensure that the Oil Spill and Emergency Response Division operates in accordance with international conventions, industry best practices, local regulations, and QatarEnergy's internal protocols. Oversee the adherence of QatarEnergy, joint ventures, and governmental entities in the State of Qatar to international laws, conventions, protocols, guidelines, and regulations. Establish a robust Oil Spill Claims System aligned with international best practices for both QatarEnergy and the State of Qatar.
Education
Bachelor Degree in Business Management / Finance / Engineering / Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
Experience & Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English. - Strong analytical skills and report writing ability. - High level of communication and presentation skills. - Good working knowledge of International Maritime Organisation, ITOPF, IOPC Fund, IPIECA and all relevant conventions, protocols, regulations and guidelines related to oil spill response.
