Successful applicant will be joining a team of dedicated engineers and professionals. You will be designing very large and complex door systems for the military and industrial customers . You will ultimately be 100% responsible for your projects, from detailed design through purchasing and fabrication to final installation, and will be able to see and operate what you designed.
A typical project consists of preparing calculations and submittal drawings using SolidWorks 3D software. Communicating with the customer and coordinating the approval of the submittal. Preparing 100% fabrication drawings and installation drawings. Purchasing all materials and subcontract fabrication requirements. Coordinating with the customer on delivery and installation, arranging freight and coordinating the field crew and travel. Traveling to site and kicking off the installation.
