Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. Your expertise in mechanical design, drafting, and quantum engineering will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.
Duties:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software
- Conduct research to determine the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanical systems
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform calculations and simulations using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Test and evaluate prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during the development process
- Stay up-to-date with industry codes, standards, and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Experience with quantum engineering concepts and applications
- Familiarity with logic controllers (PLCs) and programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Simulink)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and present findings
