Job Overview
Petroplan are currently supporting our operator client on a Clean Fuels Project and I am sourcing a Project Category Specialist sufficient in NEC3 contracting and procurement strategies, someone central to large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. The role would allow you to take the lead in managing procurement processes and strategies, working closely with finance and project teams.
Based out of Cape Town
Contract duration 3 Years
Rate Negotiable - Paid daily
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of procurement and contract management for the Clean Fuels Project. The specialist will serve as the key liaison between procurement, finance, and project teams, driving sourcing strategies, fostering supplier relationships, and ensuring effective contract execution in alignment with NEC3 standards.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement and contracts management within large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC3 contracting frameworks.
- Strong background in sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
- 10 Years overall experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with expertise in market intelligence and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in contract drafting, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in energy or petrochemical projects.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations.
