NES Qatar will be holding a campaign in Brazil in February 2025 where we will be carrying out interviews for Senior Mechanical Technician.
Candidates located in South America who are applying MUST be able to attend a face to face interview in South America
At least 3 years experience as a technician in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry. Extensive experience in the operation, maintenance and condition monitoring of Mechanical equipment eg: turbines, pumps, compressors, valves, exchangers, vessels and associated equipment.
Key Job Accountabilities
1. Participates in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and start-up of new equipment and facilities.
2. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on field Mechanical equipment as directed in the field and workshop in line with safe work practices.
3. Ensure that material and spare parts are available and in good condition before starting maintenance activities as per work plan.
4. Ensure applicable maintenance procedures are followed and ensure proper controls are in place to ensure safe workplace.
5. Provides accurate records and close-out reports of all completed work as per company requirements, as requested and guided by Foreman/Supervisor.
6. Participates in troubleshooting of Mechanical field issues, as directed and guided by Foreman/Supervisor and issues timely reports.
5. Reviews the Piping & Instrument Diagram and Drawings (P&IDs), loop drawings, hook-up drawings, instrument index, instrument datasheets, logic diagrams and other documents required to tackle issues related to field instrumentation.
