Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. As a result, the company is working to provide our differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients that would benefit through our out-patient clinic partnerships.
At a Data Solutions Engineer, you will use and maintain business intelligence tools to design, develop and generate data and structures that help the organization Find, Treat and Heal patients in the community. You will interact and partner with many departments within Healogics, and you are expected to have a fundamental understanding of Healogics business functions and design and develop data solutions to help the company meet its strategic goals.
All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Build out scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and processes to ingest data from a large number and variety of data sources.

Ensure consistency and accuracy of the data and help design and develop data models for reporting and aggregation frameworks.

Maintain and optimize the performance of our data analytics infrastructure to ensure accurate, reliable and timely delivery of key insights for decision making.

Perform query performance and tuning.

Analyze business intelligence needs and requirements and provide data solutions for storage, analytical, or reporting tools in response.
- Test storage and reporting solutions for functionality and integrity; troubleshoot and resolve errors.
- Develop standard or custom reports, queries, or dashboards that access and consolidate information from a variety of data sources and provide ongoing support for data users.

Data extraction through RESTful services.

Work with non-technical people to analyze their information needs and create effective solutions for them.

Can speak knowledgably about the business of Healogics and offer solutions to moderately complex problems.

Performs other duties as required.
Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology (or a related field) required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 7 years of SQL Server experience, real world experience in dimensional data warehouse development and design.

Experience building and maintaining reporting systems using tools such as Microsoft SSRS, Tibco Spotfire or Tableau, desired.

Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure, desired.
