We seek a Data Center Engineer to join our dedicated and talented team a full-time role, onsite in Memphis, Tennessee. Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Support data center hardware (maintain, troubleshoot, break-fix)
- Rack and stack of data center equipment
- Provide support for Data Center Operations
Skills:
- 5+ years of hardware support experience; Hardware Troubleshooting, structured cabling inspections, swapping failed hardware, hardware updates/upgrades, Data Center Operations and installation/decommissioning
- User level Unix experience is required
- Data Center support knowledge
- Rack and Stack
- Break-Fix
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, and networking equipment
- Staging and installation of enterprise equipment
- Experience planning layout of infrastructure in racks
Additional:
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work in a data center environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and electrical equipment.
