About the Role
The Data Engineer will work with the IT team, functional business stakeholders, and the Master Data Management team to identify and resolve data quality issues, validate master data mappings, and ensure overall integration integrity, as well as assist in creating new system functionality, architectural improvements, and performance optimization analytics.
This is a hybrid position working out of our newly renovated Schaumburg office.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to move data from various source systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) into Snowflake and SAP Datasphere.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Ensure data models efficiently handle large volumes of data and are scalable for future growth.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Implement and maintain data quality checks, validation processes, and reconciliation procedures.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve complex data challenges
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all data processes, pipelines, and systems.
- Provide support for critical data pipelines, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
What you’ll Bring
- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Strong expertise in SQL and data pipeline development
- Good knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a data warehousing and business intelligence environment
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends
- Requires a 4-year Colleges Degree in Computer Science, IS, IT, MIS, Engineering, or possession of a sufficient work history to demonstrate ability to be successful in position.

- Distribution industry experience
- Post-graduate IT and/or Management training/coursework a plus

The Anticipated Salary Range for This Position:
$100,000 - $130,000
Network has established a salary range for this position based on a combination of market data, industry standards and specific requirements of the role. The actual starting salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
In addition, to base salary, Network associates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement contributions, opportunities for career growth and professional development.
