Targeted Annual Pay Range: Minimum of $99,000.00 to a maximum of $115,000.00

POSITION PURPOSE: Assists with the planning, organization and management of the daily operations, maintenance and testing of a processing system. Ensures compliance with established environmental, safety, operating, and emergency response procedures. Maintains ongoing client interface appropriate to the project to keep client informed and enhance client relations.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESOperations & Maintenance: Oversees daily operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with operational, QA/QC, safety, environmental, and performance standards. Optimizes resource allocation to achieve project objectives.Personnel Management: Assists with HR functions, including hiring, performance reviews, training, and coaching. Collaborates with HSE to ensure safety and process training completion. Develops employee skills and provides growth opportunities.Data Analysis & Reporting: Reviews operational data, reports, and logs to assess performance and project future needs. Ensures consistent monitoring and recordkeeping. Prepares regulatory, commercial, and administrative reports on water quality.Client Management: Supports the Project Manager in client meetings, addressing concerns and resolving service issues professionally. Assists with report preparation and review.Process Improvement: Collaborates with the Project Manager to develop site goals, maintain standards, and implement process improvements. Evaluates new technologies and best practices.Goal Setting & Performance Management: Assists in developing site and departmental objectives aligned with overall business goals. Evaluates employee performance, leveraging talents and communicating progress.Safety & Environmental Compliance: Proactively manages safety, plant appearance, and environmental compliance, including hazardous waste and air quality. Coordinates with customer Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) representatives. Addresses and escalates issues as needed.Emergency Preparedness: Develops and maintains emergency response plans with the Project Manager and department managers. Manages emergency situations effectively.Capital Projects: Supports capital and facility improvement projects. Coordinates with facility owners, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires work in both an office and an industrial wastewater treatment plant setting, as well as occasional travel, as needed for training, meetings, or other work-related purposes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and access all areas of the facility. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Education / Experience / Background- High school diploma or equivalent and demonstrated proficiency in the following areas: -
- Operation and /or maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
- Water quality analysis and testing procedures.
- Application of environmental regulations and safety protocols
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Demonstrated leadership ability with an understanding of Human Resources / Relations principles.
- Knowledge of Process / Operations Management, QA/QC procedures, Safety, Environmental and Facilities /Capital.
- Equipment Management.
- Ingenuity and initiative are required to coordinate problem resolution, resolve conflicting priorities and to meet assignment deadlines within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose process problems and manage remedial action.
- Demonstrated effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in order to interface with and motivate all levels of personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database software and the ability to optimize the use of technology and systems to communicate, manage budget and to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Familiarity with maintenance, operation, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in the care and use of all site specific, facility required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- Demonstrated commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Company's Code of Business Conduct and other Company policies and procedures.
Required Certification / Licenses / Training- Valid Driver's license and safe driving record.
