About the Role

We are seeking a Test Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical or aerospace engineering to support component testing and data analysis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about spaceflight and exploration, with a hands-on approach to testing and scaling production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct component testing and data analysis to support development and production efforts.
Work with high-pressure gas, cryogenic, actuated, and hydraulic systems in testing, operations, or production environments.
Maintain a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring high-quality test execution.
Communicate effectively across all levels, from shop floor technicians to executive leadership.
Support rate-manufacturing scale-up efforts with a production-focused mindset.
Manage multiple project schedules efficiently and successfully.
Foster a culture of trust, professionalism, and inclusion within the team.

Qualifications

B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in component testing and data analysis.
Strong written, personal, and computer skills for technical documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

Background in launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, motorsports, or oil & gas industries.
Knowledge of fluid components (valves, regulators, actuators, servo-valves, fittings).
Experience with sensors and instrumentation (pressure transducers, accelerometers), data acquisition, and automation systems.
Familiarity with precision clean hardware and systems.
Experience in thermal and vibration testing.
Proficiency in designing and fabricating test fixturing and tooling.

Compensation: The pay offered to a successful candidate will be determined by various factors, including education, work experience, location, job responsibilities, certifications, and more. Additionally, IPGenius provides a comprehensive benefits package, all subject to eligibility.
