Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data pipelines to process large volumes of data efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Informatica or Talend.
- Utilize big data technologies, including Azure Data Lake, to store and manage data effectively.
- Write clean, efficient code in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Create RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data integration across applications.
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency in big data technologies such as Spark and Azure Data Lake.
- Experience with ETL tools like Informatica or Talend is highly desirable.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java; familiarity with VBA is a plus.
- Knowledge of analytics frameworks and methodologies for effective data analysis.
- Experience in developing RESTful services for application integration is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
