Key Responsibilities:
Support the EHR Program: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) program.
Clinical/Health/Bio-Tech Environment Experience: Utilize experience working in a clinical, health, or bio-tech environment to inform EHR solutions.
HL7 Standards: Apply knowledge of HL7 standards, including Version 2 (V2), Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).
Collaboration: Work with clinical staff and IT leaders to translate clinician requirements into EHR solution specifications.
Health IT Requirements: Define Health IT requirements for clinical disciplines aligned with strategic plans and unit missions.
Business Analysis: Conduct business analysis on clinical processes, workflows, and related artifacts.
Project Implementation: Contribute to project implementation, infrastructure, system architecture, planning, and other tasks to ensure EHR solutions meet user needs.
Downtime Readiness: Implement downtime readiness procedures and internal reporting for system response time and service level agreements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with VITA project management standards and procedures.
Required Skills:
Experience in a clinical, health, or bio-tech environment
Knowledge of HL7 standards (V2, CDA, FHIR)
