Positions Summary: Responsible for providing Engineering support in connection with the design, development and operation of natural gas and power generation equipment.
Essential Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with management directives and policies, processes and procedures by engineering, operations, and safety departments

Coordinate technical equipment to ensure proper operations and maintenance schedule.

Review customer requirements and provide proper application engineering selection and spacing for gas equipment (ESD, NGD, + DEHY and/or Heaters and/or NRU if required);

Oversee the appropriate set-up of gas equipment and layout for stable operations of the power equipment downstream.

Issue Resolution: Gas Engineer monitors remote performance of the equipment and collaborates with field operations team to ensure Non-Conformance Reports and Service Tickets on equipment issues are documented on the OPS support platform – Gas Engineer follows the implementation of the containment action, and final resolution from the root cause analysis.

Assist in training and coaching field operations personnel in the use of computer software programs, new technologies, and improved equipment utilized in the monitoring, evaluation, and execution of projects.

Coordinate with management on the design, testing, results, and implementation of equipment and efficiency enhancement projects. Provide reports to management on field findings and make recommendations for next generation improvements.

Perform real-time monitoring and evaluation of services performed for customers as needed.

Provides training, operational support and troubleshooting as required to maintain operations of equipment.

Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree required.
-
Six years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred.

Experience in Midstream Engineering or Production facility engineering, understanding of Gas Properties and means for gas handling preferred.

Ability to draft technical reports to management.

Demonstrated ability to train field personnel

Knowledge of general business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
