We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales and Business Relationships to lead our organization's efforts in driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives and cultivating strong business partnerships. This key leadership role will be responsible for leading and directing the sales, business development and marketing strategies that drive brand awareness while driving revenue growth and enhancing business relationships for our not-for-profit organization. This role focuses on driving revenue growth and enhancing the organization’s market position. The SVP of Sales and Business Relationships will oversee the sales team, develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, and nurture business partnerships that contribute to long-term business success. The SVP of Sales and Business Relationships will oversee all fundraising activities, including individual and major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, events, and partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Develop and execute comprehensive sales, fundraising and business development strategies that align with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
·Oversee the planning, writing, and submission of grant proposals to secure funding from government, foundation, and other grant-making organizations.
·Oversee the planning and execution of events that promote the organization’s mission and strengthen community connections.
·Partner with marketing and communications teams to create impactful messaging that engages potential clients, partners and donors.
·Work closely with the marketing, UDSF programs and departments to align sales strategies with the organization’s strategic initiatives and program goals and objectives.
·Identify, negotiate, and formalize partnerships and strategic alliances that enhance business growth and market presence.
·Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and financial management for sales and business relationship activities to ensure optimal use of resources.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
·Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field is required.
·At least 10 years’ experience in sales leadership, business development or related roles, with at least 5 years working in a senior leadership capacity is a must. Sales and business development experience in a non-profit environment is a huge plus.
