Apple's Applications Content Group is seeking a Real-time Graphics Developer to work on consumer software applications across Apple's device ecosystem. You'll be exploring new and existing technology, looking for creative ways to augment existing visual effects or come up with completely new ideas. You, in collaboration with other members of the team, will design, implement and iterate on new content prototypes. Description
You will take comps from design teams and rebuild them using internal frameworks and technologies. You can write shaders and have a deep understanding of how real-time graphics works. We are a small team, and as such we wear a lot of hats, from creative problem solving to implementation production. You obsess over small details, and make sure every pixel is in its place, not because you have to but because you want it to be correct.
You are able to communicate in clear concise manner. You are easy-going, able to multi-task, and can deal with multiple rounds of edits. You are a self-starter and don't need to be asked to do things. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to keep many different projects and priorities organized and moving in the right direction. A deep understanding of our Apps and how code works is essential for success. You may be asked to work on something that can't be done with any shipping app, so the ability to articulate what tools will be necessary to design, produce and ship a product Is essential.
