Job Description:
We are seeking Data Quality/Data Masking Engineers to define, implement, and enforce data quality rules, data masking strategies, and compliance frameworks.
The Data Quality Engineer will work closely with Data Governance, ETL, and Business Teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security across all data sources.
The Data Masking Engineer will be responsible for developing data masking strategies to support testing while maintaining compliance with data security regulations.
These roles will work very closely together and have many overlapping goals.
Responsibilities:
● Implement data masking techniques to ensure compliance with privacy policies.
● Work with Azure Databricks and Purview to track data integrity, lineage, and governance.
● Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, anomalies, and schema drifts.
● Support real-time and batch data validation processes in Azure Data Factory.
● Work closely with Business/Data Quality Analysts to ensure alignment with reporting needs.
● Assist in developing automated validation frameworks for pre and post-migration testing.
Requirements:
● 5+ years of experience in data quality engineering and data governance.
● Strong knowledge of data security, masking techniques, and compliance frameworks.
● Experience working with Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory.
● Familiarity with schema drift notifications and data reconciliation strategies.
Nice to Have/Preferred:
● Understanding of healthcare data governance and metadata management is a plus.
● K2View (this is the tool they're using and team doesn't have a lot of this skillset build in)
● Informatica
● Purview
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $63.00 per hour
