Production and Completions Manager
The successful candidate is expected to interact with office professionals and field personnel to develop plans to optimize field production, supervise surface facilities construction or modification, and maximize the value of completion operations. Personnel will work with procurement to coordinate the formal bid process, evaluating bids, and with other GHA team members to make recommendations to GHA management.
Specifically, the Production & Completions Manager (PC Manager) is expected to:
- Maximize Production from Existing Assets in a Cost-Effective Manner
- Develop procedures to implement work overs or other necessary operations to enhance production
- Coordinate execution of the field operation
- Ensure LOE is minimized without sacrificing HSE standards
- Surface Facilities
- Design surface facilities incorporating field input.
- Execute on the construction or modification of the surface facilities design in time to support production operations
- Ensure facilities designs are cataloged and available
- Completion and workover Operations
- Develop detailed plans and AFEs for completion and workover designs and operations
- Coordinate completion and workover operations ensuring the design is implemented as planned and AFEs are under control.
- Create Completion CAPEX AFEs as well as collaborate with Finance Department for LOE, workover and CAPEX accrual process
- Diagnose root cause of surface and subsurface failures, derive options for corrections, evaluate economics, execute corrective plan, and perform lookbacks to implement systematic improvements
- Vendor Selection
- Working with procurement and other GHA personnel, bid and select high-value services, equipment, and materials while maintaining a high standard for HSE.
- Ensure companies providing LOE services and equipment are delivering high-value
- HSE and Company Protocols
- Recommend workflows and documents to improve GHA efficiencies
- Adhere to and improve GHA policies and protocols for bidding, MSA process and review, and cost documentation
- Lead by example in maintaining high levels of commitment to HSE standards.
- Work with procurement to maintain current bid, work order, and cost documents to support vendor accountability and accounts payable reviews
- Produce Daily and Monthly Production Reports and Forecasts
- Issue daily production reports in excel and pdf formats
- Provide monthly production estimates to facilitate monthly close
- Provide monthly production forecasts to ensure nominations are accurately made; regularly review nominations to maximize GHA revenue
- Maintain and update ARIES database in Microsoft Office
- Utilize ARIES to forecast longer term production and review reserve estimates and run sensitivities under various scenarios
15 years in various petroleum engineering roles and Barnett Shale experience preferred, BS in petroleum engineering required.
