Summary

This position is located in Philadelphia, PA and there will be travel to Moorestown, NJ and Marmora, NJ.

This position is a key HR leader within Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages (LCCB), reporting directly to Director of HR Operations supporting facilities in Moorestown, NJ, and Marmora, NJ. The HRM will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in these designated facilities. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRM maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business' financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver HR solutions to meet managers' and employees' needs.
  • Ability to learn and understand the business environment, strategy and people implications.
  • Act as steward for attracting, developing and retaining diverse talent in the organization.
  • Champion performance and talent management processes within customer group.
  • Develop & execute annual people plan in-line with business and external market for assigned facilities.
  • Leverage the use of tools / knowledge / informational sources to identify business trends and ensure appropriate HR solutions are in place to support the business.
  • Support the HR Service Delivery model by working effectively with HR Services.
  • Manage labor and employee relations activities through effective management and communication.

Responsibilities Continued

  • Deliver leadership development training on time and in full as required by the training calendar in our business plan.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years exempt-level Human Resource experience required.
  • 3 years of employee relations experience.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.
  • Previous consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a union environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Sales Force.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong influencing and partnering skills required.
