Primary Purpose of this Job
- The position is responsible for all functions including people within the Item Engineering and Standard Routing Technician teams for ATISM. Heavily responsible for data analytics and reporting, and driving operational excellence.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)
- Manage the organizations responsible for Change Management, Batch Launch & Modification using standardized procedures aimed at 100% customer/product compliance
- Perform and champion work consistent with the integrated quality management system (IBMS) using standard problem-solving tools; leading the organization by performing root cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify corrective actions and process improvements
- Collaborate on contract review with Sales, Quality, and Engineering to improve information flowdown, cycle times, and implementation of improvement projects.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills to manage and provide development opportunities for Quality team members on a day-to-day basis.
- Champion improvement activities to improve the flow and right-first-time processes for ATI product, quality systems, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
- Develop and maintain practices to meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements
- Manage personnel including task assignment, performance management, policy adherence and development
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills to manage and provide development opportunities for Change Management personnel
- Interface with customer quality and technical representatives concerning problems and assure that effective actions are implemented
- Perform technical analysis on change management issues, trends, losses, and opportunities
- Support Certification management in the execution of customer compliance
- Lead the organization in investigations into product or process non-compliance and drive implementation of corrective actions, quality improvement projects, and the use of continuous improvement tools.
Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education Required
- 4-year College Degree (preferably in an Engineering discipline)
Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated leadership or formal management experience.
- Knowledge of change management principles
- Experience in the use of continuous improvement tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in SQL, Business Intelligence Tools, PowerBI, etc..
- Knowledge in taking data and drawing insights from that data to drive strategic business decisions
- Strong knowledge with Inventory Management Systems (ideally Oracle)
Knowledge of:
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point at a minimum) required to accomplish day-to-day work activities and willingness to learn additional programs.
- Sufficient knowledge of company, products, objectives and operations.
- Oracle, Maximo, etc. experience a plus.
