Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Beacon Industries. This role is crucial in designing and developing electrical systems and components that meet the rigorous standards of the aerospace sector. Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for aerospace applications.
- Create and analyze schematics to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and simulation of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical designs into larger systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical components to ensure reliability and performance.
- Support the development of system design documentation and specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and SystemVerilog for system modeling.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and design principles.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge as it pertains to aerospace applications is a plus.
- Experience with MicroStation for CAD design is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to write scripts for automation tasks; knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
