Job Description:
Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Rate: up to 35.hr
Duration: 6-month contract
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst collaborates with the Product Owner and Product Manager to evaluate feature value, business requirements, and IT documentation necessary to initiate the SDLC for new product enhancements. Assignments are varied and often require independent judgment to determine appropriate actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and optimize IT functions, services, projects, and improvement initiatives.
- Identify and analyze performance measures and metrics.
- Develop and maintain balanced scorecards and dashboards.
- Evaluate and monitor performance in IT-related areas.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to write/groom user stories.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions for business processes.
- Provide testing support to Product and Development teams.
- Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and objectives.
- Make decisions regarding work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations.
- Follow established guidelines and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Less than 5 years of technical experience.
- Experience in problem analysis and process documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Experience analyzing and presenting complex data.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability.
- Six Sigma Certification.
- Salesforce experience or Admin certification.
