Now Hiring: Aircraft Mechanical Engineer (Entry-Level)
Vashon Aircraft is looking for a recent college graduate to join our engineering team. If you're fresh out of school and eager to put your mechanical or aeronautical engineering skills to work, this is the perfect opportunity.
Position Summary:
As an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and refining aircraft components, improving aerodynamics, and ensuring safety in the assembly process. You’ll collaborate with our engineering team, use SolidWorks to develop and improve parts, and work hands-on with assembly mechanics to optimize production.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and improve aircraft components to enhance performance and safety.

Create and update part drawings and assembly procedures using SolidWorks.

Work closely with assembly mechanics to optimize processes and tooling.

Develop specialized tooling to streamline aircraft assembly.

Assist customers in troubleshooting aircraft issues or damage.
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.

1-2 years of experience in a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience with SolidWorks (1-2 years preferred).

Passion for aviation and a strong desire to innovate.
