DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
- Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to the appropriate disciplines.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to improve processes and controls to reduce cycle and change over times.
- Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Lead and propose capital projects.
- Complete time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements and balancing of processes.
- Assist with hands on training of manufacturing employees on new products, processes, tooling, and equipment.
- Read schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets, and process sheets to trouble shoot equipment and processes.
- Assist in analysis of rework and scrap data to facilitate problem solving techniques to find the root cause of the issues and reduce non-conforming product.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering. (Required)
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting. (Required)
- Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule.
- Basic understanding and ability to read prints and schematics.
- Ability to develop and execute a detailed project plan.
- Working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft products and engineering software.
- Strong problem solving and facilitation skills to lead a team for continuous improvement.
Pay: $75,000-$100,000 per year based on experience
Passing Pre-employment Drug Screen required
