Scope of Position: The Senior Financial Analyst at The Bridge plays a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting for the organization. Responsibilities include preparing monthly position control and staffing reports, updating forecasts, and monitoring spending trends across programs. The role also involves running and analyzing monthly financials, assisting with the preparation of the annual operating budget, and ensuring accurate revenue entries in the general ledger. The Senior Financial Analyst will review and approve purchase requisitions, provide support for external audits, and prepare detailed reporting packages, including KPIs. Additionally, this position offers ad hoc analytical support across finance teams and ensures that financial data aligns with organizational goals and projections.
Essential Position Functions:
- Prepare the monthly position control and staffing reports.
- Update the forecast/position control for staffing changes; sign off on PAFs/PRFs from a budget perspective.
- Monitor and analyze spending trends for all programs.
- Run and analyze the monthly financials and issue reports to users, set up review meetings, etc.
- Focus on maintaining the organizational forecast to provide realistic year-end projections.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget.
- Calculate and enter monthly revenues into the general ledger.
- Assist in preparing the monthly reporting package, including KPIs.
- Review/approve purchase requisitions from a budget/coding perspective.
- Provide support for external audit requests.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support and other assistance to the other Finance teams as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) with 3-4 years of experience (working with non-profits and government agencies preferred)
- Must be very tech-savvy with the ability to manipulate data via process automation.
- Advanced Excel skills with an aptitude to embrace new technology, systems, and workflows.
- Knowledge of fund accounting systems preferred.
- Must be able to analyze large amounts of data from numerous sources and have a strong desire to prepare in-depth analyses and report the results in a meaningful and concise manner.

- Strong team player with an aptitude to continually learn and grow.
