Raul V. Bravo + Associates is seeking for an Office Engineer to work in a team-based environment. The applicant should be a self-starter that is willing to support simultaneous efforts on various projects. Maintaining consistency, adhering to standards, and attention to detail are paramount. Outgoing personality to reach out to others to obtain the needed information for reporting purposes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Input contract-related data into ProCore directly or via file uploads.
- Guide project staff on Procore usage following the Project Implementation Manual.
- Assist with contract close-out and organize technical documents for project records, including as-built plans, drawings, and schematics.
- Support project status report preparation to track progress and monitor schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
- Manage contract files and project logs, including correspondence, invoices, progress payments, contract changes, claims, timesheets, overtime records, and cost estimates.
- Maintain contract logs and ensure timely distribution of documents between Contractor and Agency staff for compliance.
- Collect daily inspection reports from field inspectors, record Contractor lost time, and reconcile discrepancies with Contractor reports.
- Organize progress meetings with the Contractor, Agency staff, and technical consultants; prepare agendas, record minutes, and track action items.
- Review invoices and progress payments; prepare payment packages for authorization and ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon wage rates.
- Assist staff in gathering contract data and documentation to address changes and claims.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by Agency's Project Manager or Task Manager.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field
- Or at least four (4) years of equivalent work experience in construction or project management.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong technical writing skills.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in designing, constructing, or planning/managing electrical installations or similar infrastructure.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and Procore.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
