Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong SSIS and SQL skills to support enhancements and integrations on the NYC DYCD BIR platform. The role involves developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and integrating datasets used in performance dashboards, such as contract invoicing and program participation.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and manage ETL workflows using SSIS
● Build and optimize stored procedures and dataflows for reporting accuracy
● Ensure pipelines align with logic changes in CRM and BIR dashboards
● Troubleshoot issues related to contract and outcome reporting logic
● Collaborate with BI developers and DYCD's internal data teams
Required Qualifications:
● 4+ years of experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and stored procedure development
● Strong data modeling and pipeline troubleshooting skills
● Experience with CRM data structures and integrations
● Familiarity with data warehouse environments and government datasets
Preferred Qualifications:
● Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or scheduling tools (e.g., Cisco Tidal)
● Experience supporting Power BI integrations
● Public sector project background
