TEJAS is currently seeking a Metallurgist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This job will be a part time consulting opportunity.
Must have a degree in metallurgy, or equivalent work experience. Candidate must have knowledge of all equipment and be proficient in the following metallurgical tests, at a minimum: Grain Size (ASTM E112), Micro-cleanliness / Inclusion Rating (ASTM E45 Methods A, B, C, D), Banding (ASTM E1268), Macro examination (ASTM E381), Decarburization (ASTM A962), Corrosion (ASTM A262 & A923), Ferrite content (ASTM E562) and other specialty testing.
