Join the Enterprise Data Warehouse team as an Associate Software Engineer where you will be responsible for the following:
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in Enterprise Data Warehouse and business application team projects with a focus on design, development, unit testing, and implementation of cloud solutions
- Work with project lead to understand business requirements; collaborate with project lead on design and development tasks
- Create technical design and program specifications documents
- Analyze the data sources, design, and develop Databricks pipelines to ingest the data
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes and solutions
- Provide after-hours support of the application in the production environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related analytical discipline or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of web programming technologies
- Understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
- Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycles
- Passion to develop amazing solutions making a difference in our customers’ lives
- Desire to work in an essential technology area learning from experienced software engineers
- Willing to provide after-hours support of the application in the production environment
- Working experience or understanding of Azure Databricks and Python
- Knowledge of SQL technologies
- Understanding of program design specifications and models
- Knowledge of Snowflake platform
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
