Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and innovative commercial AV Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing state-of-the-art AV systems tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial AV technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design: Develop comprehensive commercial AV system designs, including audio, video, and lighting solutions, that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with sales, CAD, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of AV systems from concept through installation.
- Technical Documentation: Create detailed schematics, equipment lists, and technical drawings to guide installation and ensure system functionality.
- Client Engagement: Conduct site surveys and consult with clients to assess needs, provide technical expertise, and deliver customized commercial AV solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and commissioning of commercial AV systems to guarantee optimal performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Technology, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial AV system design and integration, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in commercial AV technologies, including sound systems, video conferencing tools, projection systems, and control interfaces.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD software for creating technical drawings and system layouts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D) are highly desirable.
