PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: <$51 - $56 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

As a(n) < IT Business Analyst > you will:
Details:
- The following are key responsibilities fulfilled by MAPS FICC Platform Services (although not limited to):
- Change and Release management focusing on production stability
- Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts within our orchestration framework to ensure application health across FICC applications
- Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments at start of week and start of day
- Release implementation and post-release testing
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts
- Troubleshooting of complex systems issues
- Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots
- Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements
- BCP/Arc preparation, automation and execution within the standard operating procedure
- The ability to quickly and independently develop expertise is a highly valued attribute of the MAPS FICC Platform Services technical analyst. An effective analyst commonly exhibits the following behaviors:
- The ability to rationalize the impact of multiple concurrent issues/requests and prioritize work accordingly
- An independent sense of motivation to continuously improve themselves and the environment
- An intuitive problem solving ability which leads to solution alternatives that reflect the analysts diverse foundation of knowledge, skills and experiences
- The confidence, focus, and adaptable communication style required to effectively coordinate restoration efforts for high-impact technology incidents
- Operating systems: Solaris, Linux, Windows
- Scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python, SQL (Intermediate level: multi-table joins, grouping results, etc...)
- UI testing automation - Tosca
- Orchestration: CutOver
- Well-rounded understanding of ITIL and infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging).
