STIFFLER MCGRAW, a steadily growing, multi-disciplined engineering, surveying and architectural firm, has the following employment opportunity available in our Hollidaysburg office:
LAND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER: for planning and designing site development projects.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
· B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer License in Pennsylvania preferred but not required. If not a licensed P.E., must be on track to receive licensure.
· Experience working with developers preferred
- Proficiency in the application of specialized design software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D, as well as other related software
· Candidate must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Hydraulic analysis experience preferred
· DEP permitting experience preferred
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the division manager, the successful candidate will assist with the preparation of conceptual, preliminary, and final client deliverables, including construction documents, specifications, and written reports. He or she will prepare project design documentation including contract drawings, coordinate and assist with addenda, manage requests for information and change orders. He or she will assist with project layout, construction cost estimation, and overall project coordination.
