The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the quality improvement of failure investigations.They improve equipment reliability of division assets while reducing COSD for the GeoUnit and/or location. They also improve process efficiency of the division maintenance workflow.
Activities:
- Develop a continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans in the assigned location to improve asset utilization, reliability and CoSD.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time through reduction of assets waiting for maintenance, down for parts or repair authorization number, down for failure and work-in-process.
- Identify new opportunities and develop business cases for projects pertaining to rework and reuse of parts, service level kits and equipment design improvements.
- Monitor the quality and completeness of data capture by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to drive CoSD and reliability analysis.
- Monitor and execute projects to improve quality, reliability and CoSD.
- Participate in failure Investigations as assigned by the GeoUnit Reliability and CoSD or Maintenance Manager.
- Participate in periodic technical audits and CAT compliance assessments. Follow up on maintenance related remedial action plan closures.
- Support on preparation and execution of maintenance stops and major repairs
- Follow up onshore repairs and engage with suppliers to align on maintenance scopes
- Support Maintenance Manager with generation of technical reports, and Maintenance indicators reports
- Leads all major rig modifications, following client and company standards
Mininum requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Profession licence (CREA) active
- Experience as Maintenance Engineer
- Offshore Experience (desireble)
- Advanced English.
- Knowledge of Administrative tools (Microsoft, SAP, Project plan)
