Job Duties: - Reports to Regional Manager - HSE, Area Manager - HSE Execution or Manager - HSE.
- Under close supervision, assists in the implementation of programs, policies, procedures and processes in support of the Company's environmental strategies, including but not limited to; waste management, pollution prevention and waste minimization, permitting assistance, hazardous materials compliance, UST/AST compliance, air and water compliance issues and assistance with other general environmental tasks as defined by immediate superior.
- Assignments are generally well defined with clear and specified objectives.
- May assist in conducting training, assessments, inspection and audits.
- Familiar with existing and proposed changes in environmental requirements.
- Assists in providing technical advice to operations and shared services personnel.
- May assist in the preparation of presentations and technical reports, as well as the interpretation of data, standards, codes and regulations.
Qualifications:- Minimum of two years college required.
- Undergraduate degree in a scientific field preferred,
- 1-3 years work experience.
- Computer, research, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills required.
