Eni, we are looking for a
Geophysicist Coordinator within
the Turkmenistan Limited in
Balkanabat, "Burun Field", Turkmenistan. You will be responsible for e nsuring the follow-up of the drilling phases by Well Operations and Subsurface Geology.
As a member of the Reservoir Department at Eni Turkmenistan Limited, you will be responsible for :
- Be the main reference for the integration of seismic interpretation with well data and production data for reservoir characterization, to identify new opportunities with a special focus on hydraulic new blocks separation and identification, attic oil infilling wells and new opportunities within the actual reservoir area.
- Managing mapping, depth conversion and volume calculation for the preparation of geological and drilling programs to be submitted to third parties and authorities.
- Ensuring the continuity of the production of the Field with new wells proposals, in accordance with the field development plan and 4-year plan.
- Working within a multi-disciplinary environment across the development assets.
- Supporting reservoir engineers in water injection projects, scouting new locations for conversion of existing wells.
- Supporting and peer review well proposals, field development plans and reserves bookings
- Complying with HSE Policies within his/her area of responsibility.
- Complying with all Eni and ETL HSE procedures as required within his/her area of responsibility.
- Ensuring active participation in Company HSE Activities (HSE meetings, trainings, inductions, HSE Communication Programs/initiatives, etc...).
- Co-operating to ensure that the workplace is safe for everyone who may be affected by his/her actions.
- Report any unsafe acts/conditions, Near Misses or HSE Events observed during the execution of his/her duty.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
- experience in the upstream petroleum industry, with strong knowledge of geoscience modelling workflow.
- Experience in reservoir characterization through log interpretation in clastic depositional systems.
- Extensive experience in the interpretation of complex and mature reservoirs.
- Experience in well planning and design.
- Autonomous ability to work with integrated geophysical package by Petrel software.
- Ability to work inside multidisciplinary teams with different specializations in reservoir characterization and reservoir management.
- Organization ability in a multi-interface and technically demanding project
- Ability to train and support local staff, with a special focus on young resources' development.
