Responsibilities
The GZ Product Line (PL) Manager is responsible for executing the global PL strategy at the GZ level, including identifying and creating new commercial models, implementation of new technology, business development and customer engagement in conjunction with the country / area to ensure healthy market share position and drive top line PL growth.
This role will manage the white space between the different product lines and capitalize on multi-PL relationships and bundling opportunities.
Responsibilities and duties:

- Demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.

QUALITY
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Quality Management System
- Maintains service quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with the Quality function to maintain, communicate, and implement Quality Management System (QMS) in operations locations.
TECHNOLOGY & PL STRATEGY
- Define GZ Product Line strategy in collaboration with Global Product Line, GZ Leadership and Country Directors.
- Ensures all applicable components of the GZ and GPL strategy are developed into a GZ PL strategy and fully executed across the GZ.
- Research and identify opportunities for new and emerging products and new technology.
- Responsible and accountable for refining the above strategies within the Geozone and supporting the Country Directors in execution of the strategy.
- Supports / defines product line technology specific sales targets for the GZ, in collaboration with the GZ Sales Leader, via budgeting and local market strategy.
- Work with manufacturing and operations in order to manage inventory and asset utilization.
- Provide input signals to the recurring demand planning process.
- Influence country organization to ensure access to attend training and competency programs to complete the necessary career progression requirements.
- Contribute to & review country Bid Summary Analysis (BSA's) for applicable projects with justification both strategic and financial.
- Responsible for the execution of the PRA (Project Readiness Assessment) process within the GZ, collaborating with Commercial at initiation through to stewarding execution with relevant OMs
- Critical leadership role to support and enable solutions selling.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, operations, global product line leaders and marketing to develop and provide product definitions, as well as be responsive to customer needs and market opportunities in support of Operations Managers
- Working with GPL and GZ PLMs to ensure full utilization of workforce and seek opportunities for cross PL multi-skilling.
- Share accountability with sales and business development teams for local customer relationships and market share encroachment. Maintain a high profile within customer community.
- Communicates and drives technology deployment and technology budget priorities through functional reporting lines from GZ technical sales functions.
COMMUNICATION
- Serves and maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders including Global Product Lines, Quality and Geozone and external customers
- Regularly and clearly communicate status of annual objectives, challenges to objectives, and improvements to future objectives.
- Be known as an industry credible technology and solutions expert
FINANCIAL & PERFORMANCE
- Actively participate to enhance gross margin.
- Monitor GZ Product Line(s) P&L, costs, revenue forecasts, helping to identify and improve PL financial performance and growth.
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
- Lead PL GZ capability & competency development; critical leadership role in ensuring competency development of PL Field Engineers, Operators and other PL roles.
- Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Sponsor the NextGen Field Engineer program and ensure a suitable pipeline of talent to the Geozone.
- Actively participate in talent development and succession planning for critical roles across the Geozone and enterprise level.

Qualifications
Experience & Education
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field from an accredited University (or diploma/certificate with relevant work experience)
- LAM Region experience, in Markets like Mexico, Argentina and Colombia
- 10+ years' experience in an Engineering , Service Delivery or related functional role
- Subject matter expertise in designated Product Line(s)
PREFERRED
- 5+ years' experience or more in a leadership position driving influence cross functionally
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
- Significant relevant experience in PL related capacity
- Strong knowledge of technologies and commercial strategies, quality assurance and philosophies
- Proven ability to execute and achieve impactful results in the organization.
- Detail oriented individual with proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects concurrently and within projected deadlines. Ability to offer creative solutions and resourceful problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of global & virtual teams across multiple geographies/vertical markets.
- Well organized, effective written, verbal and presentation and communication skills. Ability to prepare and present clear and concise oral and written opinions, reports and presentations.

- Experience with WPTS and OEPS (Weatherford Quality systems)
- Experience of project delivery & implementation
- Experience of Oil and Gas surface systems, down-hole tools & applications
Travel Requirement:
This role may require domestic and international travel of up to: 25-50%
