Responsibilities
Based out of our Edmonton facility, the OPS Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of designated operations of the district and works closely with employees, vendors, and management to help ensure the success of the operation.
Responsibilities and Duties: (not listed in any particular order)
- Facility Inspections/Maintenance
- Organize 3rd party repairs and services
- Facility and yard house keeping
- Organize 3rd Party Inspection and certification of lifting safety equipment
- Sourcing and ordering of consumables
- Collection and review monthly recapitulation fuel and mileage on fleet
- New and on-going driver evaluations
- Filing and downloading updated documentation
- Coordinating PO's for purchasing parts and supplies
- Coordination of wireline installation and servicing which includes truck transporting
- Operation of Light, Heavy, trailer, forklift, Skid steer as per needed
- Work with the operators and supervisors to recommend better or different practices which may enhance the success of the operation.
- Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of Field experience or 6-10 years operations experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of Wireline Technologies products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and quality skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Computer skills.
- Multi-tasking ability.
