Position Specific DescriptionThis position will support the Power Generation Division - Solar & Storage fleet and will be based out of Silver State Solar BESS near Enterprise, NV.
This individual will be responsible for the proper execution of inventory processes and inventory management, ordering and maintaining consumable materials and supplies, inspection and upkeep of sites' common areas and facilities (includes maintaining organization and cleanliness of warehouses, inventory connex containers, and other storage areas), managing incoming and outgoing deliveries and shipments to the site, and performing other administrative functions needed to sustain site operations. Provides inspection of watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic trouble shooting for a solar arrays and inverters.
Job OverviewEmployees in this role are responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar generation equipment on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations. Successful candidates apply a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components and equipment to include the use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and amp clamps.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Maintains all tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition
- Provides inspection of watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting for a solar field and battery energy storage equipment
- Performs switching and grounding of medium and high voltage equipment
- Ensures daily inspection for cooling system discrepancies, mechanical component breakage, and electrical component failures preventing site equipment from operating as designed are performed
- Travel to other sites will be required
Required Qualifications- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 0+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
Preferred QualificationsThe base pay for this position is $44,800.00 to $67,200.00 per year. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
