Responsibilities
Weatherford have a great opportunity for an experienced Scheduling Supervisor to join the team in Altens, Aberdeen. The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of production activities on the shop floor by creating, monitoring, and adjusting the production schedule in line with demand and capacity constraints.

QUALITY
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System.
- Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.
OPERATIONS
- Create detailed production schedules that align with demand, resource availability, and production capabilities.
- Assess capacity and workload weekly, implementing measures to prevent overload.
- Eliminate shop overload by distributing the load evenly among work centres with similar capability and establish outsourcing plan wherever needed.
- Coordinate with production to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
- Respond promptly to changes in demand or production disruptions, adjusting the schedule as necessary.
- Monitor production progress, ensuring that Work Order (WO) operation start/request dates are achieved as planned.
- Ensure WOs with outside process operations are sent on time to suppliers.
- Optimize production sequences to minimize lead times and maximize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the planner to align daily production schedules with monthly and weekly production plans.
- Work with warehouse team to ensure that required materials are pulled and staged for scheduled WOs.
- Evaluate potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies through outsourcing.
- Provide regular updates to management on schedule adherence, highlighting any deviations and corrective actions taken.
- Monitor spare parts inventory levels and ensure availability of required materials and equipment, if applicable
- Analyse procedures and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Coordinate information with other functional staff, including but not limited to, quotations, order management, engineering, accounting, planning, and human resources.

- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.
FINANCIAL

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a scheduling role, ideally within the oil & gas industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Will also consider candidates with equivalent suitable experience.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Knowledgeable in work processes for Notification Management, Work Order Management, Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as Outlook, Word etc.
- Solid understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Solid, proven organizational, project management and leadership skills.
- Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of JD Edwards would be beneficial.
