Would you like to be part of a high skilled department focusing in data, power performance and customer support?Region NCE> SBU NCE Service > Performance Engineering Performance Engineering is a sub department of Service Operations NCE, which supports the On- and Offshore Service and Construction business with technical knowledge and acting as the link between engineering and the local service regions.
The team consists of 12 team members, right now, expanding to 21 colleagues. The main area of support is improvement of the turbine performance, from an operational and technical point of view.
Responsibilities - Develop the strategy to improve the Power Curve analyse and power performance, by defining process and tools that will enable the business to provide a more efficient response to our customers
- Analysing WTG performance, including Power Curve analysis (turbine performance data analysis)
- Reviewing technical customer questions and reports, and providing answers and reports and presenting technical matters at customer meetings
- Being the Link between Engineering and Service and driving product improvements from a Service point of view
- Ensure technical knowledge is shared within Service Operations, Customer Managers and Service
Qualifications - Technical degree or Bachelors or Master's degree in the field of electrical or mechanical or marine engineering or equivalent
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
- Extensive knowledge of WTG control systems (VOB, Toolkit, VTM, etc.)
- Good technical background, with experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, and proficiency in tools such as Spotfire, Python, R, or similar
Competencies - Self-driven and eager to deliver high quality analysis
- Ability to turn complex technical knowledge, details and data into simple language
- Well-organized and methodical approach to your work and a pragmatical attitude to your problem-solving
- High attention to detail and a full commitment to quality
- Good interpersonal skills and cultural understanding since you will work with many stakeholders from all over the world across the organization
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle critical knowledge with confidentiality
- Flexible, pragmatic and solution oriented
