Responsibilities JOB SCOPE:
The role of the Treasury Analyst is to actively process all the aspects of the Treasury function within the assigned Regional Treasury Center (RTC). This role reports directly to the Regional Treasury Center Manager. This position is key in consulting, supporting, coordinating, and processing treasury activities, including cash management, banking relations, debt management, cash forecasting, foreign exchange & cost control within the Regional Treasury Center (RTC). It requires a high level of interaction with the Finance organization across countries. The following are, but are not limited to, the expected functions of this role:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cash Management: Prepare weekly/monthly cash balance, investments, and cash-restricted reports to corporate; compare monthly balances with HFM reporting; identify any significant variance; and coordinate with the respective team to resolve the issues. Support bank account reconciliation efforts, including communications with the banks.
- Perform Treasury Operations SME functions within the assigned countries and regions.
- Ensure all Treasury Operations activities for the assigned countries are performed on time and diligently, including proper attention to detail and transparency. Always communicate with management.
- Raise issues to management that may affect cash and liquidity in the assigned countries. Organize meetings and keep documentation for process improvement opportunities to reduce manual efforts in all aspects of the Cash Management function and others.
- Act as a backup support for Treasury Operation functions in the MAK region.
- Foreign Exchange: Prepare FX exposure data according to scheduled reporting and internal procedures. Booking and settlement of FX transactions as required.
- Act as a backup for FX responsibilities within the MAK region.
Bank Account Administration: - Maintain accurate and proper records of bank account signatories in the eBAM system.
- Assist with the bank account opening, closing, and signers' updates. Ensure proper documentation and approvals are secured and maintained in designated systems.
- Maintain signer and profile management of all access to banks, bank portals, or treasury systems according to Treasury guidelines.
- Prepare annual foreign bank account reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting of signers, bank accounts, limits, etc., according to local regulations, requirements, and guidance.
- Act as the backup support to the Corporate Technical Treasury Analyst.
Payment Processing: - Process payments accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with company policy, controls, and local regulations.
- Actively ensure payments are processed according to local standards and quality.
- Liaise with banks to resolve any payments pending due to compliance or other issues.
- Review monthly bank charges to confirm the accuracy of data according to agreements with banks.
- Actively analyse the Payment process for the assigned countries to reduce manual efforts and eliminate inefficiencies.
Cash Flow Forecasting: - Prepare cash flow forecast according to the scheduled reporting deadline and internal procedures.
- Review actual vs forecast to be in line with corporate guidelines and provide feedback to corporate treasury/GZ controller if any variances.
Treasury solutions: - Support the integration and implementation of Treasury technologies, systems, and processes according to internal priorities and assignments.
Other: - Provide timely and accurate support to internal and external Audit and Internal Controls requirements for all treasury-related activities managed by the Regional Treasury Center.
- Support the transactional aspects of Letters of Credit, netting, and In-House banking.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and banks to process KYC.
- Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Qualifications SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree or MBA (Finance, Accounting, or Business).
- CTP certification or CFA charter-holders/candidates are desired but not required.
- Experience in Treasury, Accounting, Finance, or Commercial/Investment Banking (5 years)
- Knowledge of using the new Treasury Management system (FIS Integrity). Familiarity with JDE or any relevant ERP system.
- Experience in export/import payment processing and strong understanding for RBI and local regulatory requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of intellectual curiosity ability
- Organizational, time-management, and setting & meeting deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and tight deadlines while retaining strong attention to detail
- Good computer skills - MS office tools knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. (proficiency in these tools required)
- Ability to build strong relationships across the finance organization

- Ability to work under time pressure while assuring job quality and commitment by direct reports. Ability to shift priorities as needed.
