The Production Tech is responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment. They will troubleshoot problems, diagnose equipment failures, and make repairs as needed. They will also work with other production staff to ensure that production is meeting quality and quantity goals. This is a technically demanding job that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production staff to meet quality and quantity production goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Highschool Degree or a GED is required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
