Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is looking for Advanced Operations Coordinator to join our Service Operations Team at Wick offshore wind farm.
The coordinator will plan, coordinate and support field personnel in conducting the safe and profitable servicing and maintenance of wind turbine equipment. This will be done in line with planned maintenance requirements, including providing parts and consumables for our offshore wind farm, working from our operations and maintenance facility in Wick.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:- Meticulous administration of SGRE wind farm sites including technical and commercial record-keeping and clear separation of costs between service and warranty activities in line with the customer contract
- Raise, schedule and allocate planned and unplanned maintenance activities in conjunction with SGRE field staff and customer personnel via Spiridion SAP system
- Maintain efficient timescales for planned maintenance activities and create daily and weekly plans for site team as required, optimizing the deployment of CTVs and helicopter logistics.
- Control and technical verification within Spiridion SAP system; collation of time data and parts consumption to allow billing and parts replenishment to be initiated
- Ensure maintenance and troubleshooting activities are aligned to business objectives and customer requirements
- Co-ordinate the preparation/provision of HSE related documentation and ensure all work is carried out in line with UK legislation
- Co-ordinate record keeping, reporting and documentation archives to support full service and maintenance history.
What You Need to Make a DifferenceA passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for...
- Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for your own workload
- Excellent organisation skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements
- Work shifts at the project location, including weekends (but not nights) so living within commuting distance of Wick is essential
- Knowledge about health and safety legislation
- IT literacy, particularly MS Office Applications and SAP
- Ability to communicate efficiently with stakeholders in a confident manner.
- Previous experience of working in the wind industry would be advantageous although full training will be provided
