IRC225973 - ICT COORDINATOR
At Eni, we are looking for an ICT Coordinator within Eni Cyprus in Nicosia, Cyprus. You will be responsible for monitoring the status of all IT activities & projects and ensuring technology resources are used efficiently to accomplish organizational goals. Coordinating projects relating to IT infrastructure, operations, cyber security, compliance, data, and applications. The focus of this position is to provide management with project status reports and summary project information to enable strategic IT decision making.
As a member of the ICT Department at Eni Cyprus you will be responsible for:
- Providing reliable ICT services to all Company Departments, in terms of quality, security and confidentiality;
- Administrating and maintaining Company Servers, network devices, switches, routers and the security of Company Data (to be intended both as physical security and cyber security);
- Planning, implementing and managing Company's communication networks (Cisco, Videoconference systems, Satellite comms.), network and system services for technical, administrative and scientific applications, as required by Company needs;
- Gathering IT requirements for the overall business and planning and implementing the acquisition of the necessary equipment, services and software;
- liaising with local authorities in order to obtain authorizations and licences as required;
- Evaluating, proposing and implementing innovative ICT solutions to better respond to business and end-users needs and requirements.
- Assuring the correct business planning regarding ICT matters by preparing the required forecasts, annual and long term budgets;
- Coordinating specific development projects;
- Identifying new IT technologies, business processes and information requirements which are relevant for the business needs. Evaluating and implementing these to provide business benefit.
- Ensuring adequate and up-to-date documentation is provided for the support of products and systems.
- Interacting internally within and between departments and functions, especially with colleagues in Head Quarter, and externally with consultants, agencies, professional associations.
- Monitoring system adoption and work with department liaisons to increase system and process adoption across the organization;
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- Degree IT/System/Programming.
- Experience as IT Engineer/ IT Support/ IT System & Network Administrator in multinational company environment.
- Proven experience in System Administration using MS Windows OS, Linux Servers, Email Servers, Network Servers and desktop environment;
- Proven experience in network management including routing, switching, filtering & firewall technology;
- Proven experience in voice and VoIP technology implementation in business environment;
- Proven experience in implementing IT infrastructure projects;
- Proven experience in providing end user services in multinational environment;
- Good spoken and written English skills are essential;
- Good interpersonal skill, resourceful with positive working attitude;
- Possess a high level of responsibility and commitment;
- Teamwork attitude;
