Do you have a passion for data and a knack for problem-solving? We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our client's Global DC&I team and help them unlock the power of data to optimize Drilling, Completion & Intervention (DC&I) operations.
In this role, you'll be a data analyst, working closely with various teams across the company. You'll use your expertise in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools to clean, analyze, and transform data from multiple sources, including DC&I, environmental, safety, and financial.
Here's a glimpse of what you'll do:
- Become a data detective: Mine, cleanse, and manipulate data to identify key elements and sources.
- Master data wrangling: Leverage our data science toolkit to acquire and consolidate large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Craft the perfect queries: Write and maintain optimized Python and SQL queries to gather data and integrate it with other applications.
- Build dashboards that wow: Develop and maintain dashboards to improve data visibility and empower data-driven decisions.
- Unveil financial insights: Assist with DC&I cost tracking by gathering data from WellView and SAP, comparing estimates to actuals.
- WellView whiz: Manage WellView workflows, ensuring data quality, reports, and KPI analysis.
- Collaborate for success: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into actionable data strategies.
- Champion data solutions: Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data for better decision-making.
- Support DC&I operations: Provide data-driven support to DC&I, engineering, and field projects.

We're looking for a data enthusiast with:
- An Associate's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or Data Analyst in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Spotfire or Power BI.
- Experience with HTML, JSON, or API programming languages.
- Working knowledge of upstream oil and gas operations (onshore & offshore drilling, completions, interventions).
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between field and office teams.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
- WellView backend expertise.
- Experience querying databases and analyzing drilling/completions data.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- You're self-motivated and a continuous improvement champion.
Position Type/Expected Work Hours
* Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9-hour days and Friday, 4-hour day
* Able to work remotely up to 2-days a week with supervisor approval
