ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and implement R&M processes, equipment and systems to enable optimized production efficiency while maintaining focus on cost efficient solutions, sustaining high quality product results, and enabling design for maintainability in new designs. Provide guidance and support for solving complex technical problems that arise in Repair & Maintenance production. Coordinate the orderly transition and installation of new processes and/or methods in accordance with product specifications with a Lean Maintenance approach.

QUALITY
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System
- Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
OPERATIONS
- Design and develop maintenance processes, equipment, and systems at the plant level to improve process capability, quality and maintenance readiness.
- Coordinate deployment for new or revised products maintenance
- Create BOMs and routings for newly released Part Numbers and revise BOMs and routings when processes are updated and/or Lean maintenance efforts create increased efficiency of the maintenance steps.
- Design, develop, test, source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for new or improved maintenance
- Identify and develop collaborative solutions for issues within the maintenance workflow such as level loading, production bottlenecks, machine reliability, general production related work flow waste.
- Make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape maintenance success.
- Prepare or direct the preparation of Model facility and/or equipment layout and detail drawings in CAD Engineering software.
- Providing technical guidance for maintenance activities.
- Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls.
- Support the Quoting process and Order Management process by supplying pertinent information as required.
- Write procedures and reports
COMMUNICATION
- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
- Collaborate with Scheduling Specialist and Master Planner in order to ensure all items (upper level and sub levels) of BOM are planned.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain , R&M Management and Supervisors to simulate and assign the maintenance COGS to parts/product, ensuring accuracy before finalizing.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop, innovate and implement maintenance technology best practices.
FINANCIAL
- All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
- Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure
- Prepare feasibility studies and thorough cost justification for projects.
- Monitor production output and collaborate to implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

VISION & LEADERSHIP

Qualifications- University Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering
- Min 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment /process engineer role
- Knowledge of machine design, welding processes and special processes (coating, grinding, elastomer mfg, painting, bonding, etc)
- Lean Process experience, Lean Green Belt/Black Belt certification
- Strong team leadership skills, be a self-starter, innovative and able to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to implement SPC
- PC skills including AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop is advantageous, MS Office
- English proficiency
- Oil & Gas Industry experience would be an advantage
